Olivier Witmeur has been a professor of Entrepreneurship at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management since 2000, has coached 120+ companies, and serves as academic director of the school's Entrepreneurship centre.
Olivier Witmeur has been a professor of Entrepreneurship at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management since September 2000, teaching Entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial finance, and business planning to students, entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate managers. He serves as Deputy Dean for Executive Education and academic director of Solvay Entrepreneurs (the school's Entrepreneurship centre) and the Advanced Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Before joining academia, he was CFO of OpenHR (2000-2006), a Belgian IT venture in HR management software, and earlier served as Managing Director of EEBIC, a Brussels incubator (1995-1999), and as Adviser to the Brussels Region Minister of Economy (1991-1994). He has coached over 120 companies and is a non-executive partner in newpharma, a Belgian online pharmacy.
