Pascal Emsens

Pascal Emsens is a co-founder and director of Aukera Energy, which he co-founded in October 2021. He is based in Brussels. He has served on the board of Marley Building Systems since May 2018 and on the board of the Sibelco Group since April 2017, and he was a board member of Emergya Wind Technologies B.V. from March 2017 to December 2019.

Between January 2019 and September 2021 he was a managing director and senior advisor at The Carlyle Group. From August 2013 to December 2018 he was at AtlasInvest as portfolio manager and chief executive of REDECO. He worked at Exmar from September 2006 to July 2013, first as manager of business development for LPG and then as commercial manager for offshore, and in 2004 he completed an M&A analyst internship at Deutsche Bank.

Emsens studied at Maredsous and took a BBA in business administration at Lancaster University from 2001 to 2005. In 2014 he completed the Venture Capital Foundation Course of the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association.
