Patrick Colmant

Patrick Colmant is Product Owner Transverse and ITIL Expert at egov-select, based in Brussels. He joined Egov Select in January 2021 as Team Manager Transverse and ITIL Expert.

Before that he spent much of his career at CIRB_CIBG, which he joined in December 1999 as Chef de Projet, a role he held until December 2006. He was Application Infrastructure Coordinator from 2007 to 2010, Service Manager Infrastructure and ITIL Expert from 2011 to May 2017, Responsable DevOps until December 2018, and Service Manager Cloud and ITIL Expert from January 2019 to July 2020.

Earlier he was Chef de Projet at NMBS-Holding - SNCB-Holding from 1997 to 1999, and worked as an analyst programmer at Battard from 1993 to 1997 and at Casterman - Titelive in 1992 and 1993. He also taught, covering COBOL and databases at IESPP from 1994 to 1998, introduction to programming in Java at IEPS Evere in 2002 and 2003, and introduction to databases at FUNDP from 2002 to 2006.

He studied computer science at the Université de Namur from 1989 to 1992, after a graduat in Informatique de Gestion at IESN, and holds ITIL V3 Expert certification from EXIN.
