Patrick Garmyn
Patrick Garmyn is the owner and managing director of orthobroker, a position he has held since January 2009. He is based in Antwerp.
He began his career as a physiotherapist in manual therapy at Physio Praxis from September 1984 to December 1990, having completed a Master in Physiotherapy at KU Leuven between 1979 and 1983. From 1990 he worked at Smith & Nephew, first as a sales specialist with Smith & Nephew DJO Rolyan until 1996, then as international clinical specialist and training manager, international product manager and international marketing manager, leaving in 2000. He was global marketing manager at BSN medical from 2001 to 2005, director of sales and marketing for the Benelux at Fort Dodge Animal Health from July 2005 to November 2006, and director of sales at BeoCare Ltd from January 2007 to December 2008.
He obtained a Master in Marketing at HUB-EHSAL in 1995 and an MBA in general management at Vlerick Business School between 2001 and 2003.
