Patrick Pryck
Patrick Pryck is managing director of Contec - Industrial Automation Solutions, based in Antwerp. He has been with the company since September 1987, first as a project engineer until December 1999, then as sales manager from January 2000 to June 2009, and as managing director since July 2009.
He also heads several of the group's other entities. He has been managing director of Contec Romania SRL since July 2011, of Contec Poland Spzoo since January 2014 and of Contec France SAS since November 2016, chief executive of Contec IAS UK ltd since June 2018, and a director of Contec IAS US Inc. since February 2024.
Before joining Contec he was a plant engineer at Belgian Shell from May 1984 to August 1987. He studied electrical engineering at Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent from 1978 to 1982 and took a master's degree in information technology at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1982 to 1984.
