
Patrick Van De Vyver
Patrick Van De Vyver is the CTO of Bainisha and is based in Lokeren. He took up that role in March 2021, having been the company's CEO from June 2012.
His career began in mechanical engineering, a field in which he worked from 1976 to 1986, followed by a year as a product development engineer at CNH Industrial. He was group leader for R&D at Crown Holdings, Inc. from 1987 to 1995, then spent 1995 as a mechanical design engineer and project manager at Printing International before joining DE PECKER GENT NV as a project engineer and assistant department manager until 1999. He was an R&D and FEA engineer at Xeikon, a senior mechanical and mathematical development engineer at Dana, Spicer off Highway Products Div., a mathematical modeler at Picanol and a senior process technology modeler at Aleris. He then led the mechanical engineering department at OIP Sensor Systems, headed advanced mechanical engineering and innovation at VYNCKE, and headed advanced research and development at Waegener from 2009 to 2012.
He studied mechanical engineering at The Open University, graduating with a B.Sc. (Hon.).
