Patrick Wheeler

Patrick Wheeler is a co-founder of cyberwayfinder and is based in Québec. Since July 2024 he has served in the Canadian Armed Forces | Forces armées canadiennes as Commanding Officer and A4 at 1 Wing Headquarters.

Wheeler has spent his career in the Canadian Armed Forces | Forces armées canadiennes, joining in July 2005 and holding aerospace engineer positions until June 2015. He was then deputy manager for CH146 projects and engineering until June 2017, worked on CH146 sustainment business case analysis, materiel and contracted maintenance from 2017 to 2018, and served as CH146 aircraft engineering officer from June 2018 to August 2020. From August 2020 to July 2022 he was squadron aircraft maintenance and engineering officer with 400 THS, after which he was a graduate student until May 2024.

He studied at the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada, earning a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, aerospace, in 2010 and a Master of Applied Science in mechanical engineering in 2024, and was a sessional lecturer on its military faculty from May 2024 to June 2025. He also studied at Carleton University. His stated expertise covers management, leadership and engineering.
