Paul Desclée

Paul Desclée is co-founder and CEO of helium-care, a company he co-founded in February 2019. Since April 2024 he has also worked as a neuroradiologist at the Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc, where he had earlier been a consultant in neuroradiology between 2008 and 2010.

From October 2008 to March 2024 he was a radiologist with Groupe Jolimont, and from April 2018 to December 2023 he headed the radiology department at Jolimont - Lobbes.

He obtained his doctorate in medicine at the Université de Namur between 1996 and 2003, then trained as a specialist in medical imaging at the Université catholique de Louvain from 2003 to 2008, followed by neuroradiology with the European Society of NeuroRadiology from 2008 to 2010. In 2018 he completed a certificate in the design and management of healthcare institution strategy at the Université catholique de Louvain and an interuniversity certificate in medical management at the Université libre de Bruxelles.
