Pedro Vicente

Pedro Vicente is the co-founder and chief executive of Bloom Biotech, which he founded in September 2024. He is based in Antwerp.

Before that he was a downstream scientist at Exothera from August 2023 to September 2024, and a process engineer in continuous manufacturing at Fette Compacting from June to September 2023. From January 2022 to May 2023 he was a downstream scientist at Peace of Meat, having previously worked as a laboratory technician on physical-chemical assays at Labfit - HRPD Lda between September 2020 and January 2022. He was a researcher at the CICS-UBI Health Sciences Research Centre from October 2018 to July 2022 and at UCIBIO from December 2018 to April 2021.

Vicente studied at Universidade da Beira Interior, where he completed a bachelor's degree in biotechnology in 2018 and a master's degree in the same field in 2020.
