Philippe Chan

Philippe Chan is the founder of CHENEXT Technologies, which he started in July 2023, and is based in Leuven.

He was a PhD researcher at Arkema from April 2019 to May 2022, and then at KU Leuven from May to August 2022. He obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering at KU Leuven between April 2019 and March 2023, having earlier completed a Master of Science in Materials Chemistry at Ghent University from 2015 to 2018 and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry there from 2012 to 2016. He attended Sint-Pieterscollege Blankenberge, in the sciences and mathematics track, from 2006 to 2012.

During his studies he held student representative roles, serving as academic syllabi coordinator at Chemica FV from 2013 to 2015 and then as treasurer and board member until May 2016, followed by a year handling external public relations for FaculteitenKonvent Gent from July 2016 to June 2017.
