Philippe Tob
Philippe Tob is the founder of Aqvita, which he started in May 2019, and is based in Brussels. Since January 2004 he has also been managing director of FLAMINGO HOLDING.
Between October 2011 and January 2023 he sat on the board of the Euroliver Foundation. In 2010 he worked as an affiliate industry analyst at Pike Research. Earlier, he was a consulting engineer at Royal HaskoningDHV from September 1999 to January 2000, a process engineer at IDE Technologies Ltd. in the early months of 1997, and a research engineer at Technion from April 1994 to October 1995.
Tob studied chemical engineering at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1986 to 1992, and spent 1991 to 1992 as an Erasmus student in chemical engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València. He was a PhD candidate in chemical engineering at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, from 1993 to 1994, followed the Cepac management programme at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management in 1998 and 1999, and completed an MBA in business management at Vlerick Business School in 2002.
