
Philippe Van Wesepoel
Philippe Van Wesepoel is a co-founder of OLYS Pharma, where he has been Associate Director and CSO since May 2020. He is based in Belgium. Since February 2026 he has been cofounder and CSO of VALEDYN, and in January 2025 he founded NELYAL. He has also been Associate Director and CSO of Ynios Pharma since March 2022, and has owned WesCons since May 2016, having previously run it from January 2010 to December 2011 as a freelance international agent and marketing consultant for the pharmaceutical industry.
Between January 2012 and January 2016 he was Business Unit Manager Biopharm BeLux at Novo Nordisk A/S. Earlier he was Benelux Manager at Medimaco, Product and Business Development Manager for Tamiflu at Roche Pharmaceuticals, Product Manager for Cymbalta and Yentreve at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, and Product Manager for Levitra at Bayer HealthCare. He began his career at Pharmacia & Upjohn as a sales representative to GPs and specialists from 1990 to 1999, then joined Merck KGaA as Product Manager Women's Health and Sales Manager until 2003.
He holds a master's degree in sciences and an MBA from the University of Liège.
