Piet Vandaele

Piet Vandaele is based in Gent and is a co-founder of 24Flow, a shop floor management and production scheduling platform, having joined the company in business development in September 2022 and become a co-founder in April 2023. He has also been managing director of Zeno Digital since January 2017.

Between July 2022 and March 2023 he worked in product management at Routty, and from December 2021 to December 2024 he was a mentor with imec.istart. He co-founded Waylay in January 2014, serving as its CEO and chairman of the board until December 2020 and remaining a board member until June 2022, and held responsibility for strategic partnerships there from December 2020 to April 2022. Earlier he was VP Product & Marketing Management at Awingu from November 2011 to December 2014, and spent 2004 to 2011 at Alcatel-Lucent, where he led a network architect team before moving through product portfolio management and product management roles to director of product management.

Vandaele holds a master's degree in electronic engineering and a PhD in applied sciences from KU Leuven, and an MBA in general management from Vlerick Business School.
