Pieter Huyghe

Pieter Huyghe is a co-founder of Brigid, a role he took up in October 2025. He is based in Gent. Since December 2021 he has also been a co-founder of Spellmakers, and since July 2021 an improver at Refresh Now.

From November 2019 to January 2022 he worked at Elmos as a consultant functional analyst, scrum master and agile coach. Before that he was at USG Professionals Belgium, where he was a consultant from July 2018 and a functional analyst and scrum master from August 2018, both until November 2019. He was a functional analyst at Cipal Schaubroeck from October 2017 to July 2018, and at M-team (soon part of MLOZ) he was a software engineer expert and then a functional analyst expert between January 2016 and September 2017.

Earlier he spent four years at OZ - Onafhankelijk Ziekenfonds in data management roles, and worked as an RPG/LE developer at TALENT-IT and in testing, support and sales at SeaAges Software. He studied informatics at HOGENT from 2005 to 2008, following accounting and computer science at Regina Pacis.
