
Pieter Marx
Pieter Marx is the founder and CEO of greenmarx, a company he started in January 2008, and is based in Antwerp. Since October 2001 he has also been the owner of NLMC, and since July 2021 he has worked on strategy and go-to-market with various energy storage and grid flexibility companies.
He founded Moestuinbox in February 2011 and Stadsvers in 2012, running both until December 2014, and founded Stadsboerderij Antwerpen in February 2015, remaining there until June 2019. Between October 2017 and July 2021 he worked as a strategy consultant in agribusiness.
Earlier in his career he was CEO of Intellect International from January 2005 to July 2007, business division manager at Ardatis (Cegeka) from 2001 to 2004, and executive consultant at KPMG Consultants Belgium from 1999 to 2001.
Marx obtained a master's degree in engineering at KU Leuven in 1996 and a special degree in philosophy there in 1997, followed by studies in financial management at the Belgian Chamber of Accountants and the Advanced Management Program at Vlerick Business School from 2003 to 2004. He attended Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege Brussel.
