
Pieter-Paulus Vertongen
Pieter-Paulus Vertongen is co-founder and chief executive of Aaltra, which he co-founded in November 2007. He is based in Melle.
Between January 2002 and December 2007 he was owner and developer at Glint creative design VOF. He worked as a web developer at XOLUTIONS from May 2004 to June 2005, and before that completed a web development internship at the Real Biblioteca Madrid in late 2003.
He studied multimedia and communication technology at Howest, taking a bachelor's degree between 2001 and 2004, and then took a master's in internet and software technology at the IT-Universitetet i København from 2005 to 2007. In 2016 he followed the KMO challenge programme in business and commerce at Vlerick Business School. His earlier schooling was at Sint-Barbaracollege Gent and at SintLucas, and in 2000 he attended a Rotary Youth Leadership Award seminar.
