Pieter Vagenende
Pieter Vagenende is CEO of fyber49, a role he has held since October 2023, and is based in Gent. He founded PTM Group in 2004 and has been its CEO since, with responsibilities covering leadership, vision and new business development. He has sat on the executive board of 51PTM since May 2021 and has been a director of TrikaalTech since October 2010. At NOPEK he was managing director from January 2016 to January 2018, and has been chairman of the board since January 2018. Between January and June 2023 he was acting CEO of Fiber Trust.
He studied at Sint-Barbaracollege and holds a Master of Engineering in construction engineering from HOGENT. He also studied at Vlerick Business School, where he took a finance for non-finance managers programme in 2016 and 2017.
