Renaud Bouckenooghe

Renaud Bouckenooghe is Chief Technology Officer of COREMATIC Europe, a role he took up in December 2023, and is based in Liège. He states expertise in MLOps, artificial intelligence, deep learning, computer vision and generative AI. Since March 2023 he has also been a co-founder of Accelerate.ai.

Between April and December 2023 he was a machine learning engineer at Sirris, and from July 2022 to March 2023 he worked as a computer vision engineer at both NavInfo Europe B.V. and AIIM. He spent almost nine years at FN Herstal, joining in December 2013 as a computer vision engineer and serving as computer vision and deep learning tech lead from March 2018 to June 2022. From December 2013 to December 2023 he was an engineering consultant at Manakeen, and before that a software engineer at EVS Broadcast Equipment from February 2012 to November 2013. Earlier he was artistic director of the Fédération des Etudiants de l'Université de Liège and a student monitor at the University of Liège.

He holds a Master of Science in electrical and electronics engineering, with a minor in computer engineering, from the University of Liège, and a Master of Science in telecommunications engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He also completed a deep learning summer school certificate at the University of Deusto and the Self-Driving Car Nanodegree Program at Udacity.
