Rens Van Haute

Rens Van Haute is co-founder and chief product officer of Bolt, based in Brugge. He co-founded the company in November 2018 and served as its chief operating officer until March 2026, when he took up the product role. Since May 2025 he has also been a co-founder of Plenty.

Before Bolt, Van Haute spent four years at Accenture, joining as an analyst in October 2014 and working as a consultant from December 2016 until October 2018.

He studied business engineering at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2012 and a master's degree in 2014. During his studies he spent an Erasmus semester at Uppsala University in 2011 and an exchange semester at Queensland University of Technology in 2013, and in 2010 he followed a course in applied optimisation methods for finance at IÉSEG School of Management.
