Richard Cosemans

Richard Cosemans is co-founder and chief technology officer of askmaeve, based in Gent. He co-founded the company, recorded as Maeve, in March 2025. He has also been a guest lecturer at Erasmushogeschool Brussel since April 2024 and a mathematics tutor at REBUS Studiebegeleiding since October 2016.

From September 2024 to May 2025 he was a senior data engineer at BrightWolves, and between April 2023 and May 2025 he worked as a freelance machine learning engineer through Codemans. He was technical lead at Genvision from November 2023 to September 2024 and a software engineer at ORTEC from February to November 2023. Earlier he was a cloud engineer at KBC Bank & Verzekering from April 2022 to February 2023, a data engineer at Dataroots from March 2022 to February 2023, and a data scientist at Ordina Belgium from September 2021 to February 2022.

He studied mathematics at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2019 and a Master of Science in 2021.
