Rick Wallace
Rick Wallace is president and CEO of KLA, a role he has held since January 2006. He is based in San Francisco. He joined KLA in February 1988 and held various positions there until December 2005. Earlier he was a lithography engineer at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation from November 1984 to June 1987, and before that an engineer at Procter & Gamble from June 1982 to October 1984.
He has served on the board of Marvell Technology since April 2024. His earlier board positions include Splunk from October 2022 to March 2024, Proofpoint from May 2017 to September 2021, NetApp from April 2011 to September 2019, the Silicon Valley Leadership Group from April 2011 to March 2015, Beckman Coulter from October 2009 to June 2011, and SEMI from July 2005 to March 2014.
Wallace holds a BSEE in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and an MS in engineering management from Santa Clara University.
