Riham Toulan
Riham Toulan is a founder based in Belgium, working at Purple Puppet. She co-founded the company in June 2017 and has held roles there as animation TD, as senior technical animator on MetaHumans from April 2020 to June 2023, and as co-founder in a role beginning in January 2022 that she continues to hold.
Before Purple Puppet, Toulan was lead technical animator at DICE (EA Digital Illusions CE AB) from September 2015 to 2017, and senior technical artist at Crytek from January 2012 to February 2015. Earlier she worked as a character rigger on the independent film Aliens took my girl in 2011, for Brendan Bellomo from October 2010 to January 2011, and as a rigger on the Monkey Robot project from September 2010 to February 2011.
She holds an MFA in animation from the Academy of Art University, completed between 2010 and 2012, and a bachelor's degree in media science from the International academy for media science, studied from 2004 to 2008.
