
Robbe Van Assche
Robbe Van Assche is the CEO and founder of ash-labs, and is based in Bornem. He worked independently at Ash Labs from April 2018 to November 2025.
Earlier in his career he held the position of lead aseptic technician on weekends at Pfizer over two periods, from February 2015 to August 2016 and again from December 2017 to February 2020. Between July 2016 and March 2018 he was an electronics design engineer at Propulsion Systems - House of Duratech, and from September 2012 to January 2015 he worked as a railway design consultant at TUC RAIL. He began his career as a technician at Ventilec in 2008, moving that October to Cegelec Belgium as a high voltage technician, and then to E&I Projects from January 2011 to September 2012 as site leader E&I and draftsman for security systems.
He studied electromechanics and process automation at CVO Crescendo from 2010 to 2013, followed by electronics-ICT at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences from 2014 to 2017.
