Roel Engelen

Roel Engelen is the CEO of Quodoc, a role he took up in March 2026, and is based in Brussels. Since July 2024 he has also been a co-founder of Drizzle.

Before joining Quodoc, Engelen was Head of Commercial Excellence at Ayvens from May 2025 to March 2026. He spent the preceding years at LeasePlan, which he joined in February 2018 as a corporate account manager, moving into key account management in January 2019 and then serving as Manager Commercial Excellence from January 2021 until May 2025. He began his career at EY in August 2013, working first as a junior consultant and then within Global Compliance & Reporting, where he was promoted to senior consultant in August 2016 and remained until February 2018.

Engelen studied applied economics at KU Leuven, completing a master's degree in 2013, and obtained a graduate qualification in fiscal sciences at the Fiscale Hogeschool Brussel between 2013 and 2015.
