Roel Frene

Roel Frene is Business Development Manager and owner of Mercuron, a role he took up in September 2023. He is based in Sint-Lievens-Houtem.

He holds several concurrent positions. He has been owner and CEO of Server Storage Solutions since May 2004 and of Server Storage solutions Bulgaria since October 2012, and he led Server Storage Solutions USA as owner and CEO from August 2018 to December 2022. He has been owner and CEO of In Balans Met Je Bedrijf since March 2009 and has worked there as a horse reflected coach since May 2022. In January 2013 he co-founded VM Dieetpraktijk.

Between July 2014 and March 2016 he was international business development and sales manager at Syneto. Earlier he was a sales engineer at Ronver Systems from December 2002 to April 2004, and an inside sales assistant at Arrow Electronics from October 2000 to November 2002.

He studied at Sint Hendrikscollege from 1992 to 1998 and at Arteveldehogeschool from 1998 to 2000, and later completed horse reflected coaching and systemic coaching programmes at I4Horse, as well as training as a natural horsemanship instructor.
