Ruben Lagatie
Ruben Lagatie is a freelance developer and consultant based in Brugge, where he is the owner of CodeControl. He has been the owner of CodeControl since August 2015, and since January 2021 has combined that with freelance development and consultancy work.
He spent over a decade at Televic Education, joining as a software engineer in October 2009 and from October 2014 until January 2021 working as a team lead, lead software engineer and software architect. In parallel he was the owner of Djeebuzz VOF between July 2013 and November 2016.
Lagatie studied computer science at KU Leuven, completing a BSc in 2007 and an MSc in 2009, and was a PhD candidate in computer science there from 2009 to 2013.
