
Ruben Van Den Bossche
Ruben co-founded Gorilla in 2018 in Antwerp after a career in tech and digital product work. He holds a Bachelor and Master in Computer Science from the University of Antwerp, as well as a Master in Business Economics and a PhD in Computer Science. He previously co-founded tablebooker (2012) and worked as Director of Product Operations and then COO at November Five before launching Gorilla.
Gorilla builds data-focused solutions for energy retailers and utilities, including billing, pricing, forecasting, and portfolio management. The company works with clients including British Gas parent Centrica, Shell Energy, and US-based Gas South, operating across Europe, the US, and Australia. In June 2024, Gorilla raised EUR 23M ($25M) in a Series B round.Career Highlights
