
Rutger Buijzen is an owner and founder at dpg-media-technology, and is based in Rotterdam. Since February 2004 he has also been the owner and founder of DotControl.
Between 2014 and December 2024 he was a managing partner at RockBoost. He co-founded Shelfast B.V. in July 2014 and remained with it until December 2018, and in April 2014 he founded Addiscount Group B.V., which he ran until December 2017. In 2013 he founded both lyker and DealsInc, staying with each until December 2016. Earlier, in January 2005, he founded Eventler.nl, which he ran until 2019.
Buijzen began his career as the owner of B&L Interactive from February 2001 to February 2004, after which he spent a year as an IT specialist at IBM. He studied Informatics & Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1999 to 2005, graduating with a Master of Science, and before that attended the Bernardinuscollege, where he followed the gymnasium track in mathematics.
