Salim Fedel

Salim Fedel is co-founder and chief executive of tonomia, which he co-founded in September 2024. He is based in Palo Alto. Between September 2024 and September 2025 he also advised startups at Algeria Venture.

Fedel spent much of his career at Supermicro. He joined in August 2005 as senior director of business development and strategic sales, and went on to hold roles covering hyperscale infrastructure sales and business development, general management of sales and business development including the MENA region, and, from January 2017 to March 2018, a vice presidency of sales. He returned to Supermicro in October 2020 as vice president of business development and strategic sales, remaining until August 2024. In between, from December 2018 to September 2020, he was AVP of the enterprise solutions business group at ASUS.

He began his career at Intel Corporation in 1993, working in technical marketing for flash memory products, then in the corporate marketing group, and from 2000 to 2005 in strategic sales and business development.

Fedel holds a BSEE and MSEE in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, and took his baccalaureate in mathematics at Lycee Ibn Toumert.
