Sam Vermeir

Sam Vermeir is CTO of Oisoi Studio, a role he took up in June 2025. He is based in Dendermonde. He joined Oisoi Studio in November 2023 as a Unity developer, remaining in that position until July 2025.

Before that he worked at VRT as an application developer from February 2019 and then as a user experience developer from January 2020 until October 2023. His connection with VRT went back further: he was a promotion employee there from May 2015 to February 2019 and completed a traineeship in April 2017. He was a children attendant at Kazou Waas en Dender between October 2017 and January 2019, and he interned at Goal043 | Serious Games from September 2018 to January 2019. From August 2013 to August 2015 he was a promotion employee at Eyeworks Entertainment NV.

Vermeir studied at HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen from 2014 to 2019, taking a bachelor's degree with a major in game development. He studied Adobe Photoshop at CVO leerstad from 2011 to 2013 and completed economics studies at Heilige MaagdCollege, cum laude, between 2008 and 2014.
