Samir Brahimi

Samir Brahimi is a co-founder of Equicty and is based in Kortrijk. He co-founded the company in November 2015 and served as its chief operating officer until May 2022, and since April 2022 he has been its chief executive and owner. He has also been a member of Belgian Equestrian Quality - BEQ since January 2019.

Brahimi began his career at Elster EnergyICT in October 2004 as a production engineer, later working as a production engineer and quality assistant, on printed circuit board design, and as production and quality manager, a role in which he also acted as safety officer. From November 2011 until March 2017 he headed manufacturing, supply and quality there. Between October 2016 and March 2017 he was ISC site leader for operations and quality at Honeywell.

He studied electronics at HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen from 2000 to 2004, completing a master's degree.
