Sebastien Haas

Sebastien Haas is the founder of Balnz, a company he has led since January 2025. He is based in Brussels. He had earlier been a co-founder of Balnz between March 2021 and February 2022. Since May 2012 he has also been managing partner and founder of Monify.

He has held a series of business development and sales roles. He was a business developer consultant at RMB Regie Media Belge from September 2024 to April 2025, head of sales at Paynovate from July 2023 to July 2024, and worked in business development at OpenPayd from February 2022 to February 2023. He was at Edenred on three occasions: in business development and innovation at Edenred Belgium from December 2017, in integration management until March 2020, and as business development manager ad interim during 2023. From January 2020 to March 2021 he covered business development for Europe at PPS.

Earlier he was a digital consultant at HighCo DATA Benelux, head of business development at Sixdots, international innovation manager at Highco Group, and sales manager and then general manager at HIGHCO BOX. He began his career as a technology risk consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co., followed by positions at Proximus and Cisco.

He studied at the Université catholique de Louvain from 1995 to 2000, completing a master's in business administration and applied economics at IAG Business School.
