Segolene Martin

Segolene Martin is the CEO and cofounder of Kantify, a company she cofounded in April 2016 and which is based in Brussels. She is also vice-chair of lifetech.brussels, where she has sat on the advisory board since February 2021, a working group member on innovation and commercialisation at the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence, and a member of the European Commission / Digital SME Focus Group on AI.

Her earlier roles include chief marketing officer at Meetsies, and two positions at CEN and CENELEC, where she was programme manager for innovation from 2011 to 2013 and then unit manager for technical policy until 2015. From December 2005 she was a policy officer responsible for research, innovation and business at the EU Representation Office of Regions Bretagne/Pays de la Loire/Poitou Charentes, and from 2009 she also coordinated the Automotive Crisis Intergroup at the Committee of the Regions. She worked at Euregio Maas Rijn in 2004 and at ERRIN in 2005.

She served on the boards of BeCode.org and Cluster software.brussels, and was Women in AI ambassador for Belgium from 2018 to 2022. She holds a master's degree in European public affairs from Sciences Po Strasbourg and an MBA from The Open University.
