Sejo Ćesić is the founder and chief executive of tacta, a company he founded in January 2007, and is based in Brussels. Since January 2025 he has also been a co-owner of IPO.
He held a series of other roles during that period. He was an architect at FAMIFED in 2018, having earlier worked there as a senior developer and lead architect from November 2010 to January 2017, and an architect at Constructiv from 2017 to 2018. He was technical lead for LARS at VCLB-koepel from 2015 to 2017, and worked at the European Commission twice, as an application manager from 2009 to 2010 and as a CI owner from 2014 to 2017. In 2012 he was an agile coach at Credoc.
Earlier he was a J2EE architect at Toyota Motor Europe, an XP coach at Cegeka, a J2EE senior developer at Honda Europe, a Java software engineer at vts Politie Nederland and a software engineer at Synes NV.
He completed a master's degree in computer science at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1999.
