Senne Bonnaerens
Senne Bonnaerens is the CEO of OnTracx, a company he co-founded in May 2023 and which he has led since. He is based in Ghent.
From October 2016 until May 2023 he was a doctoral researcher at Universiteit Gent, working in biomechanics of human movement. During part of that period, between January 2019 and January 2020, he was coordinator of the physical and medical cell of the KAA Gent youth setup.
He studied at Ghent University, completing a Master of Science in Physical Education and Sport Sciences, with a specialisation in sports training and coaching and a minor in research in biomechanics, between 2014 and 2016, followed by a PhD in biomechanics of human locomotion from 2016 to 2022. In 2020 he also obtained a PhD in musculoskeletal modelling at KU Leuven.
