Sertan Sukas

Sertan Sukas is the founder of Innofluidics, where he has served as chief executive since April 2022 and holds the roles of CEO and CTO. He is based in Eindhoven and has been a guest researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology since April 2022, having previously held a postdoctoral research position there from September 2019 to April 2022.

Between August 2017 and July 2019 he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, overlapping with a period as visiting researcher at Universiteit Twente from November 2017 to October 2019. Before that he was director of engineering at Mikrobiyosistemler Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş from September 2015 to May 2017.

His earlier career was at the University of Twente, where he was a PhD researcher from 2007 to 2011 and a post-doctoral researcher from March 2012 to September 2015, completing a doctorate in nanotechnology. He studied at Middle East Technical University, taking a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, an aerodynamics minor in aerospace and a master's degree in mechanical engineering and electrical and electronics engineering, and worked there as an MSc researcher.
