Shady Cantarella

Shady Cantarella is the CEO of Locky, a company he has led since February 2023 and where he has also served as administrateur since July 2023. He is based in Brussels.

Before Locky, he spent close to three years at ClassPro, where he joined as a graduate teacher in February 2019 and moved through the roles of deputy manager, manager and senior manager until October 2022. Earlier, he was a project officer at the Prince d'Angkor Hotel & Spa in 2013, a rédacteur at the Université libre de Bruxelles between October 2010 and April 2011, and a student at ONDRAF, the national agency for radioactive waste and enriched fissile materials, during the summer of 2010.

Cantarella studied sound design at the Koninklijk Conservatorium and electroacoustic composition at the Conservatoire royal de Musique de Mons before taking a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics and economics at the Université catholique de Louvain, completed in 2019, alongside a certificate in finance from the Louvain School of Management. He completed an online certificate in machine learning from Stanford University in 2021 and Anthropedia training at Washington University in St. Louis in December 2023.
