Simeon Devos

Simeon Devos is a co-founder and chief technology officer of Monsana, a role he has held since February 2024. He is based in Brussels and states expertise in entrepreneurship and natural language processing. Since May 2023 he has also run Simeon Devos Consultancy as a freelance AI and NLP consultant.

From May 2023 to March 2024 he worked as an AI engineer and data scientist at Lexis Create+, formerly Henchman. Before that he spent four years at KBC Bank & Verzekering, joining as a data scientist in May 2019 and working as a data strategist and scientist from October 2022 until May 2023. Earlier he tutored statistics at Stats4Students and at Sagio.be VZW, completed two data analytics internships at AE nv/sa - Architects for Business & ICT in 2017, and worked as a student employee at Match & Smatch BeLux between 2012 and 2014.

Devos studied handelsingenieur in de beleidsinformatica at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2017 and a master's in data science in 2019, with a period at The University of Western Australia in 2016 and 2017. He attended Sint-Theresiacollege.
