Sophie Vandooren
Sophie Vandooren is co-founder and co-owner of LexiQ, which she started in September 2021. She is based in Aalst.
She began working as a freelance subtitler in August 2006, and in April 2007 joined BTI Studios as a translator, a role she held until August 2020. At BTI Studios she was also key account manager from July 2008 to September 2019 and operations manager at BTI Studios Belgium from October 2018 to September 2019. She then moved to Iyuno Media Group, where she was operations manager from September 2019 to August 2020 and country manager from August 2020 to September 2021.
Vandooren studied at Hogeschool Antwerpen from 2001 to 2006, completing a masters in language and applied linguistics.
