Sotirios Gakopoulos

Sotirios Gakopoulos is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of CoMoveIT, a position he has held since July 2021. He is based in Brugge.

Since October 2017 he has also been a PhD researcher at KU Leuven, where he completed a doctorate between October 2017 and January 2022. Earlier, from October 2013 to April 2014, he worked as a field services engineer at the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group of Companies.

He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki in July 2015, followed by a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology, which he studied for between September 2015 and June 2017.
