Steen Sonderby
Steen Sonderby is Chief Technology Officer at efficy-group and is based in Copenhagen. He joined efficy Group in November 2024 as Chief Product & Technology Officer.
Before that he was Group Technical Director at Mercell Group from February 2022 to September 2024. He spent close to four years at Visma, first as Director of Domestic Payroll Systems for Denmark and the Netherlands in 2018 and then as Product Development Director for Denmark and Latvia until February 2022. From March 2016 to February 2018 he was Director of ME Solutions at Bluegarden.
Sonderby began his career at Danske Bank in August 2003 as a developer, becoming a solution architect in 2006, holding system manager roles from 2008 to 2015 and serving as senior development manager until February 2016.
He studied computer science and physics at Roskilde University from 1995 to 2003, graduating cand scient.
