Stefaan Sonck Thiebaut

Stefaan Sonck Thiebaut is the CEO of Fluves, a role he took up in November 2025. Since the same month he has also been CEO of Marlinks. He is based in Brussels.

From February 2021 to August 2025 he was Director General of Innoviris. Before that he worked briefly as a consultant at Oxford University Innovation in late 2020. He joined OpenSynergy GmbH in July 2007 as CTO, became its CEO in July 2010 and held that position until August 2019, and served on the company's board from September 2019 to December 2023.

Sonck Thiebaut holds a PhD in engineering from Stanford University, completed between 1994 and 2001, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford, which he obtained in 2020.
