Stefan Engels

Stefan Engels is the founder and managing director of Commsquare, a company he started in February 2002 and where he is based in Belgium.

Before founding Commsquare, he was product director and CTO at Actix from October 1998 to December 2001. He began his career at Proximus, where he worked from September 1991 to September 1998 as an RF engineer and later as RF manager.

Engels studied electrical engineering at KU Leuven from 1985 to 1990, graduating with an MSc (Ir.), and followed this with a second MSc (Ir.) in industrial management at the same university in 1990 and 1991. Between 1992 and 1994 he completed a postgraduate programme in telecommunications and telematics at the University of Antwerp.
