Stefan Triest
Stefan Triest is a co-founder and managing partner of addestino, based in Gent. He has held the managing partner role at Addestino Innovation Management since June 2007. From June 2010 to January 2024 he was chairman of the board at Venture Spirit.
Before that, Triest joined Altran in January 2002 as a consultant and became a senior business manager in September 2002, remaining until May 2007. He was plant manager at Wynn's Europe from 1998 to 2001, and a technology engineer at TotalEnergies from 1996 to 1998.
Triest studied chemical engineering at KU Leuven, completing an MSc in 1996, and spent 1995 to 1996 on an Erasmus exchange at Mines Paris - PSL with CEMEF. In 2006 he attended a programme on managing new products and services for strategic competitive advantage at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and in 2011 a programme in strategic marketing for the technical executive at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His secondary education was at Sint-Jozef-Klein-Seminarie.
