Steven Stumpf

Steven Stumpf is the founder and manager of Poppr, a company he founded in 2013 and where he is based in Gent. He also served as its managing director from April 2013 until January 2021. He gives his areas of expertise as the metaverse, business strategy, immersive web experiences, virtual reality and 360 virtual tours.

Before Poppr, Stumpf founded CityZine, which he ran from April 2006 to April 2013. He began his career as a legal counsel at VVSG from September 2004 to March 2006.

He studied law at Ghent University, completing a licentiate degree in 2002, then took a Master of Laws in International and European Law at the University of Valencia in 2003 and a master's in the same field at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2004. He attended Sint-Leocollege Brugge, following the Latin-sciences track, from 1987 to 1996.
