Stijn Van Looy
Stijn Van Looy is managing director of Brokercloud, a role he has held since March 2022, having joined the company's board of directors in July 2019. He is based in Tienen. Since April 2020 he has also been an ambassador for GARDANTO, and in July 2017 he co-founded Poggio.
Before that he spent a decade at ERGO. He was sales manager for brokers at ERGO INSURANCE (Belgium) from January 2008 to January 2009, then manager of sales support at ERGO Partners nv/sa from February 2009 to August 2017, returning to ERGO INSURANCE (Belgium) as head of IT application development from September 2017 to December 2018.
He studied political sciences at KU Leuven, graduating with a master's degree in 2000 after secondary schooling at Sint-Jozefcollege Turnhout. He completed the Coaching Essentials programme at Quintessence in 2017 and an MITM at Antwerp Management School between 2017 and 2019.
