Thibault Vanhaelen

Thibault Vanhaelen is the CEO and co-founder of Foodiz, based in Brussels. He co-founded the company in December 2020, serving as its COO until September 2023, when he took up the role of CEO.

Before Foodiz, he spent time at Burger Brands Belgium, where he worked on architecture and real estate for Belux from April 2018 to December 2019, as a development analyst in 2019, and on market development until December 2020. Earlier he worked on strategy and business development at Italian Gourmet SPRL, as an SAP business analyst at Deloitte, and on strategic development at Maison Dandoy. Between 2009 and 2014 he was a trainer and head coach at the Royal Wellington Tennis Hockey Club, and a trainer at Wimbledon Tennis Club for a year from September 2009.

He studied business engineering at the Université catholique de Louvain, graduating in 2014, and completed a master's degree in business engineering with a focus on finance and international entrepreneurship at the Louvain School of Management in 2016. In 2015 he obtained a master's degree in international entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
