Thierry Delmot

Thierry Delmot is the founder of nSilition and its director of IC design, a role he has held since September 2006. He is based in Brussels.

Before founding nSilition, he was a researcher at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons from January 2005 to September 2006, and a programme manager at STMicroelectronics from June 2003 to December 2004. From February 2002 to June 2003 he was a senior analogue and mixed-signal ASIC designer at Alcatel Microelectronics, having spent the period from August 1997 to February 2002 at Nokia Bell Labs Antwerp as an analogue and mixed-signal ASIC design project leader. He began his career in August 1994 as a software design engineer and researcher, mainly for UCL in Louvain-la-Neuve.

Delmot studied at the Université catholique de Louvain, where he obtained an Ingénieur Civil degree and a Master of Science between 1989 and 1994, and took an MBA in management and business at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 2005 to 2006.
