Thierry Marchandisse
Thierry Marchandisse is a senior partner and founder of CoCEPTIO, where he has worked since November 2016 as lead maintenance and senior process engineer. He is based in Mons.
Before CoCEPTIO he worked as a project manager in the pharmaceutical industry, first from April 2012 to July 2014 and then at a pharmaceutical company from July 2014 to October 2016. Between October 2010 and April 2012 he was a freelance in pharma and agro. From December 2006 to September 2010 he was maintenance, engineering and qualification manager at Lonza, and from January 2002 to December 2006 he headed engineering at Cytec. He was responsible for the engineering department at Arcelor Galvalange from September 1999 to January 2002, and assistant head of production at Burgo Group from September 1994 to September 1999.
Marchandisse studied at the Faculté Polytechnique de Mons from 1987 to 1992, qualifying as ingénieur civil chimie with an energy orientation, and took a Master of Business Administration at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1992 and 1993.
