Thomas Maddens

Thomas Maddens is a film-maker based in Gent. Since January 2013 he has been a co-founder of A Mad Production, where he works as director, director of photography and editor. In September 2024 he joined the board of The Greta Thunberg Foundation.

From January 2013 to December 2015 he worked for United Nations OCHA as a producer, documentarian and editor.

Maddens studied Film & TV Studies at Narafi film school, graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2012, and also attended the LUCA School of Arts. Between 2003 and 2008 he was a pupil at the International School of Tanganyika.
